Assault Rifle Co. Sells Inscribed "YOU LIE" Piece For AR-15

Palmetto State Armory, a manufacturer of firearms, has decided to "honor" South Carolina 2nd District Republican Congressman, Joe Wilson, with the words he so ignominiously shouted at President Obama during his congressional speech regarding health care reform in 2009.

The are so proud of Joe Wilson's actions and words, that they have decided to bestow on him the honor of having a component of an AR-15 assualt rifle inscribed with "You Lie". Image may be NSFW.

PSA Joe Wilson "You Lie" AR-15 Lower

Palmetto State Armory would like to honor our esteemed congressman Joe Wilson with the release of our new "You Lie" AR-15 lower receiver. These lowers are the same great quality you have come to expect from Palmetto State Armory and feature "You Lie" as the first six digits of the serial number. Only 999 of these will be produced, get yours before they are gone!

These forged lowers are made using high quality 7075-T6 aluminum and are marked "MULTI" to accommodate most builds.  Finish is Black Hardcoat Anodize.

Limited production run!

There seems to be no level to which their sickness will not sink. Which Republican will denounce this?

Even though the component is not officially "endorsed" or "affiliated" with Joe Wilson, I am curious if he is okay having his name associated with this. Image may be NSFW.

Update [2011-1-11 19:13:51 by Glic]: President Obama has been invited by representatives of the Fort Sumter-Fort Moultrie Historical Trust to Charleston, S.C. on April 12, 2011 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the firing on Fort Sumter, which is where the War Between the States began in 1861. I very much fear the timing of this.

Update [2011-1-11 19:40:47 by Glic]:The link to the page showing the piece on the Palmetto State Armory site is now down; the rest of the company's site appears to be up, so it looks as if they may have pulled the page, but the cached page can be found here.
